The course
EDGE and the role of the EDGE Expert
EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) is a certification system created by IFC, the International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group, to drive resource efficiency in construction.
EDGE certifies that a building saves at least 20% in energy, water and embodied carbon in materials compared with a local base building.
An EDGE Expert is a professional accredited to support project teams in applying the EDGE methodology and through the certification process.
EDGE Expert Training is the first step toward that accreditation: it builds the knowledge needed to apply EDGE criteria on real projects and prepares you for the official exam.
